1.  How do I Link?

     —  Read the Link System's User Manual, watch the how to videos, look at some examples of Linking in our GALLERY. If you still have questions you can Note us and we'll be glad to help you.

2. Where can I find the User's Manual and Video Tutorials?

     — You can find them on our main page and here…

3. Why can't I have thumbnails in my artist's comment box like in the tutorial video? Am I doing something wrong?

     — Yes, you are. You are now banned from the Group :B The real answer is no, you're not doing anything wrong. Only premium members can add thumbnails in the artist's comments box. Non-premium members can Link by copying and pasting a URL to the Linkees work, ie:

"If you liked this piece you may also like (add URL to deviation here)"

*More questions about how to use a URL? Note us.

4. Does the deviation I Link have to be from your, dALinkSystem's, Gallery?

     — Nope. You can Link to any art piece on dA.

5. Do I have to be a member of dALinkSystem to submit?

     - Yes. Only members can share their Linked work in our Gallery. But you don't have to be a member to Link.

6.  How often can I  share my work in your Gallery?

     — 3 Linked deviations per week. The submission area will let you know if you've exceeded the limits. Please read the Submissions Guidelines before sharing.

7. Is there a difference between a Watcher and Member?

:star: Members:

:bulletblack:  Members can share their Linked work with the Group, which increases its exposure outside dALinkSystem, and in turn allows more opportunities to help other deviants. It also helps this Group’s exposure around dA.
:bulletblack:  Members can take part in contests (which will be held once or twice every 10 years. :B).
:bulletblack:  Members can have their own individual blogs on dALinkSystem’s page discussing anything from Link suggestions to featuring their own Links. Blogs are subject to approval.

:star: Watchers:

:bulletblack:  Watchers are kept up-to-date with everything that goes on  in the Group.
:bulletblack:  Watchers cannot submit to the Group's gallery.
:bulletblack:  Watchers cannot submit a blog.

8. Do you accept all types of artwork?

      — Yes.

9. How do I affiliate with your Group?

     — You must be part of another Group's  admin in order to request affiliation. A simple instruction guide on how to affiliate can be found here: Groups' Affiliation Widget

If this really works without probs a awesome concept kudos!

It's one of those ideas that takes time to kick in, and that's why people are sometimes unsure. I understand doubting it because it doesn't show results immediately.

I'm not even doing that '30-day-guarantee' thing! I'm saying that after 8 months of it 'starting', I KNOW it works.

I don't know if you watched the video or the read the manual, but you'll see there how easy it is, how much you can help others, and eventually help yourself.

NO, it's not like you're going to get 100% results, but in time you'll notice the difference by leaps and bounds.

You ever been at a large music-store? They always have something like, 'If you liked this CD you may want to hear :blahblah:'

That's all this is except you're helping others and could find some very, very cool art [about 40% of the current slide-show was found by Linking!].

'But man, this guy didn't fave back...or...this person didn't even leave a comment man...Tsk! I thought you said I'd get Watchers and stuff...all the art I find sucks man'.

WELL OF COURSE. I'm not talking about immediate results. I'm talking eventually over months. Some people upload something once a month and Link it perfectly. Don't get results...well you've only uploaded one piece!!! Create more, or go back into your gallery and Link some of those pieces.

Lastly, lets assume the very unlikely and say NONE of the 4 goals are achieved in any way whatsoever.

No reason to not try it for a few months and see. No reason. And thanks. :)

when you say a Linked work: is it a work by ourselves that links to another artwork, or is it the artwork that we are linking to?
You're closer with your first question. But I promise you the Video Tut. will make things a lot clearer than I could in a comment box right here. :)

Or the .pdf User's Manual.

If you still have questions, Note either of us as many times as you like. You Link once, maybe twice and you'll be doing it with your eyes shut. No joke.

I know how to link, that's not the matter :)
But when you say to suggest a linked work to the group, which one should I suggest? Mine, or the one that I feature?
Oh, I see. Yeah the work you actually put into the GALLERY FEATURED folder is YOUR deviation. It will have the Linked piece in your artist comment box.

But what you wish to turn in is going to be YOUR deviation/submission etc. That way we all get to see your work too. :)

I was about to ask how on EARTH do we let you know that we have linked someone. Now I know! Or do I? :|
You do I believe! lol

Just Link to another work from ANYWHERE on dA [watch Video tutorial if needed].

Throw it in our library in the appropriate folder in the GALLERY section. That's it.

So yeah, you've got it. :)
